Accepting Applications for 2010-2011 Enrollment

Admission

To be considered for admission an applicant must be the citizen of the Republic of Armenia or of a foreign country and must be a faithful member of the Holy Apostolic Armenian Church. He must have completed his secondary or higher education.

An interview will be conducted with each candidate on the following topics:

1. Armenian language (written exam)
2. Armenian Literature (oral exam)
3. Armenian History (oral exam)
4. Music (vocal abilities)

All applicants for admission are required to complete and submit an application packet addressed to the Dean of Theological Seminary at the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem.

The documentation must include:

1. Completed Application Form
2. Copy of certificate of secondary (or higher) education
3. Letter of recommendation from school director
4. Original document - Military Registration Card
5. Parental Consent
6. Two 3 x 4 size photos
7. Copy of current passport
8. Resume
9. Letter of recommendation from the Diocesan Primate or local parish priest
10. Proof of Residency
11. Copy of Baptismal Certificate

Applications will be accepted at the Office of the Secretariat of the Gevorkian Theological Seminary, until July 30, Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
