Two medals at the International Physics Olympiad

On July 21, 2018, the International students’ Physics Olympiad launched in Lisbon, where 3 pupils from the Republic of Armenia participated. David Gevorgyan, a 12th-grader in the Physics and Mathematics Specialized School named after Artashes Shahinyan, won the silver medal and David Zohrabyan and Christine Grigoryan, 11th-grade pupils of the same school, won a bronze medal and a commendation certificate respectively. The Armenian team was lead by Gagik Grigoryan (Physics and Mathematics Specialized School named after Artashes Shahinyan, Ayb Learning Hub) and Bilor Kurghinyan (Physics and Mathematics Specialized School named after Artashes Shahinyan).
