Arayik Harutyunyan Attends the Presentation of “Tumanyan-Komitas-150” Illustrated Art Album

Օn the occasion of Hovhannes Tumanyan’s birthday and “Book Donation Day” on February 19, the RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arayik Harutyunyan attended the presentation ceremony of “Tumanyan - Komitas -150” art album at the National Gallery of Armenia.

Greeting and congratulating those present, the Minister noted that the idea of creating a combined illustrated album emerged last year during the celebrations of the 150th anniversary of Tumanyan and Komitas.

“The release of this art album is in harmony with the symbol of the day and is also distinctive, as it includes our two eminent celebrities,” noted Arayik Harutyunyan encouraging everyone to present each other the illustrated album within the frame of the day.

The Minister expressed special gratitude to Haykuhi Sahakyan, the author and head of the Painting Department of the National Gallery of Armenia.
